As we prepare to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we are entering a once-in-a-generation moment – an opportunity not just to remember America’s past, but to mold and shape its future.
REMEMBERING AMERICA'S PAST, SHAPING IT'S FUTURE
The American Journey Experience (AJE) has officially joined The America 250 Civics Education Coalition and is partnering with the U.S. Department of Education, AFPI, and more than 40 state and national organizations.
This historic partnership will recognize excellence in civics education and promote a shared understanding of the principles that shaped the founding and history of our nation. This will be a national call to restore civic knowledge, revive civic pride, and reignite the responsibilities of citizenship for generations to come.
From December 2025 through May 2026, the History Rocks Tour will travel to all 50 states, to create a living journey through America’s story in classrooms around the nation.
Through the History Rocks Tour, AJE educators will join U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to bring students, teachers, and families face-to-face with real American history through:
- Hands-on interaction with original artifacts
- Story-driven educational experiences
- Immersive stories from the AJE collection
The American Journey Experience has always believed that history must be felt, not just memorized. When people hold authentic artifacts - letters written by founders, tools used by pioneers, documents forged in times of crisis - they’re moved.
Inspired. Changed. Activated.
And now, with America approaching its 250th year, the stakes could not be higher.
We are watching a generation grow up disconnected from the story that shaped their freedoms. Your generosity is helping change that – state by state, classroom by classroom, family by family.
This historic partnership is only possible because of supporters like you who believe that America is worth preserving. As we move toward the 250th anniversary of our nation, every dollar you give helps us reach more students, create more immersive programs, and bring more of America’s story to life.
